ABSTRACT:

Stenographic is a technique which hides the information in a cover message. The cover messages

may be in any one of the following forms image, text or sound. We have implemented a QR code

guided DWT-SVD steganographic technique for consumer and business applications. The payload

is generated by a QR code. The QR code is used because it is easier to be interpreted by scanning

equipment such as smart phones, digital camera and hand held scanners. The payload will be

hided in the DWT subbands. In the proposed system we used the 1-D sequence of the QR code to

alter the values of σ2 with either σ1 or σ3 according to the polarity (1 or 0) of the QR code

sequence.
