Secure neighbor discovery is the fundamental process in the MANET deployed in aggressive environment. It refers to the process that neighbouring nodes exchange messages to discover and authenticate each other. Existing anti-jamming communications depends on spread-spectrum techniques.Spread spectrum is a means of transmission in which the signal occupies a bandwidth in excess of the minimum necessary to send the information. The band spread is accomplished by means of a code which is independent of the data, and a synchronized reception with the code at the receiver is used for dispreading and subsequent data recovery. In the Paper proposed system, propose a novel Jamming-Resilient Secure Neighbour Discovery (JR-SND) scheme by combining DSSS with key pre-distribution. JR-SND consists four components, including a new random spread code pre-distribution scheme. It supports the fine control of the impact of compromised spread codes, a direct neighbour discovery protocol and two indirect neighbour discovery protocols, which jointly enable any two neighbouring nodes to quickly discover each other with high probability under severe jamming attack. When applying spread-spectrum techniques for jamming-resilient secure neighbour discovery in MANETs, it faces lot of problems such as 1. If all nodes share a common spread code, the adversary can acquire the spread code after compromising any node, which leads to a single point of failure.2. It may lead to a special Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack in which all nodes are forced to perform endless verifications of neighbour discovery requests. For this in the paper proposed system, they propose JR-SND, a novel jamming-resilient secure neighbour discovery scheme for single-authority DSSS-based MANETs. In the paper proposed system, they prevent the jamming and introduce the anti-jamming mechanism using DSSS introduce the secure message exchange mechanism and prevent the collisions during packet transmission. But in this we lack of introducing to detect the selfish and malicious nodes in the network. For this, in the Future Work We will enhance the work by detecting the selfish nodes using Watchdog.
