GREEN BSN ENABLING ENERGY-PROPORTIONAL CELLULAR BASE STATION NETWORKS
In this GreenBSN paper, Energy Proportionality seeks to achieve load adaptive energy consumption in communication. The less traffic load the network carries the smaller amount of energy the system consumes. In this green Based Station network to approximate network wide energy proportionality using non loadadaptive BSes. In GreenBSN, we take a location dependent profile based approach. Then divide the network into grids,that BSes in each local grid can replace each other. When serving user clients then perform location-dependent profiling to estimate the aggregate traffic among BSes in the grid.The evaluation also shows that though the GreenBSN schema is simple, energy saving and close to optimal, and it improves efficiency of the BS infrastructure for 3G UMTS.
