SupportDescription
A binary image is a digital image that has only two possible values for each pixel. Typically the two colors used for a binary image are black and white though any two colors can be used. The color used for the object(s) in the image is the foreground color while the rest of the image is the background color. The analysis and manipulation of a binary image, especially in order to improve its quality is called binary image processing. In this project, the system uses cellular logic array for image processing. The system designs and implements the Cellular logic array for fast binary image processing. And the system created the application of Edge detection process. This edge detection process is based on skeleton based analysis. A skeleton consists of lines and curves creating ontinuous structure describing the shape and size of an object. Skeleton is usually de fined as a set of points equally distant from the edges and associated with the “ridges” on the distance transformation map. There are several methods of binary image skeletonization, exhibiting different levels of complexity and returning slightly different results. Cellular logic array can be used as a co-processing unit aiding global binary image processing. This operation enables circular wave contours, which improves the quality of the extracted skeletons. Through this project we can get a better quality image than existing system because of its design and implementation.
