ABSTRACT
The main objective of this project is to investigate the transient stability of hybrid generation system (Wind-PV solar and hydro power generation). The present grid is accommodating mixed energies resulting into increasing complexities and instabilities. The dynamic performance is done by considering the impact of the hybrid distributed generation (HDG) on the grid. This HDG interaction with grid contributes more fault current therefore making the system vulnerable to instability more than a single energy source. Our main objective is to examine transient stability of hybrid generation system. In grid we integrate the new technologies such as distributed generation (DG) and hybrid distributed generation (HDG).If more fault current is present in grid then the system becomes vulnerable to instability more than a single energy source. We have to propose typical grid connected hybrid distributed generation (HDG) consists of variable speed Wind turbine with doubly -fed induction generator (DFIG), solar PV and small hydropower system. From this we improve the transient stability performance and also determine the rotor angles.
