It is important to ensure the network lifetime in wireless sensor network. Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are used in many applications in military, ecological, and health-related areas. Recent advances in wireless sensor networks have led to many new protocols specifically designed for sensor networks where energy awareness is an essential consideration. Most of the attention, however, has been given to the routing protocols since they might differ depending on the application and network architecture. Increased interest in the potential use of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) in a wide range of applications and it has become a hot research area his clustering method requires the lifetimes of all sensor nodes in the CH selection procedure, and massive resources will be consumed by exchanging the status information in a WSN. Wireless sensor networks have led to many new protocols specifically designed for sensor networks where energy awareness is an essential consideration. In our proposed a novel data gathering protocol named Broadcasting Combined with Multi-NACK/ACK (BCMN/A) protocol, a node elects itself as a cluster head based not only on its residual energy but also on its mobility in order to achieve balanced energy consumption, delay tolerant among all nodes and thus longer lifetime of the network. Simulation result shows that, our proposed protocol reduce energy consumption as well as improves the network lifetime. Which can guarantee a stable link with a cluster head and thus increase the successful packet delivery rate and reduce the control overhead and energy consumption. Simulation result shows that, our proposed protocol reduce energy consumption as well as improves the network lifetime.
