Description

We propose a new biometric authentication system such as gait recognition through model based approach. The human body structure is characterized using the model parameters fitted based on the extracted features. The parameters can be dynamic parameters (e.g., the stride length and speed) or static body parameters (e.g., the size ratios of various body parts).The features are projected into the feature space that contains all trained samples also. Then the SVM classifier algorithm will predict the recognied human id for the given test silhouette sequence.
