SupportDescription
Wireless Ad Hoc Network is a collection of two or more nodes equipped with wireless communications that communicate with each other without the aid of any centralized administrator. In general, the wireless nodes that also can dynamically form a network to exchange information without using any existing fixed network infrastructure. In Wireless Ad Hoc Networks, the Multi-channel MAC protocol with Directional Antennas (MMAC-DA) can exploit the multiple channels to achieve high throughput by enabling more concurrent transmission. The existing system addressed some MAC issues such as Neighbor Discovery, Hidden Terminal problem, Missing Receiver problem-Deafness problem. However, MMAC-DA identified the Head of Line (HoL) Blocking problem but not solved. In order to overwhelm the HoL Blocking problem in the MMAC-DA in Wireless Ad Hoc Networks, we propose an efficient algorithm called Enhanced Fairness Algorithm that blends with an approach called Greedy Approach to increase the throughput and also we use the extended mechanism of IEEE 802.11 PSM called Multi-hop PSM (MH-PSM) to increase the doze time ratio of the nodes to extend their battery life-time. The simulation result shows that it achieve significant higher performance in terms of throughput, doze time ratio, battery life-time and reduces the end-to-end delay especially under heavy loads.
