This method proposes adaptive PM method based on variable exponent. Using edge Indicator , we roughly segment the image into two sub-regions ie; inside regions and regions nearby boundaries. The Diffusion mode is adaptively controlled by the edge indicator. The Proposed method acts as the heat equation to remove noise and preserves the edges. Because of the controllability of diffusion mode , the new method can overcome the difficulty of original PM equation and sufficiently preserves small features. The main objective is to preserve edge features in an efficient manner, thereby the denoising neither depends upon the features nor create new features. To reduce the stair case effect .
