Description
The term “stress” is often used alternatively to the term “anxiety” in order to emphasize the role of various stressors and the mediation of various physiological mechanisms in the production of the earlier described reactions among humans and other species Anxiety (stress) is normal, adaptive reactions of an organism aiming at coping with emergencies. The exact reason behind the anxiety disorder were not clearly investigated. in order to provide a clear reason in this study a context aware approach is proposed, this is about a series of applications and personalized services targeted to exploit the mulitparameter contextual data collected through a long term monitoring procedure. The patient’s health record was developed and four treatment supportive services were considered. first three of them focuses on possible associations between the patients contextual data and last one focuses at predicting the stress level a patient suffers from a given context. The proposed approaches were experimentally verified. Context awareness is a rather general concept that refers to the capability of a system to be aware of its physical and logical environment (i.e., its context) and to intelligently react according to this awareness. Our approach mostly resembles with the VR approaches in that the virtual sceneries form concrete contexts and stress behavior is monitored in alternating sceneries.
