ABSTRACT:

}  Here we propose a novel method to detect the palm print based on wavelet

with the support vector machine.

}  At first the palm print image are denoised by the Gaussian filter.

}  Then we segment the ROI region from the image. which contain the important

information about the palm image.

}  Then we apply the adaptive lifting wavelet scheme. It will decompose the

image as different sub bands. Such as Approximation, horizontal, vertical and

diagonal.

}  Then the Entropies are identified by the Pulse-coupled neural network.
