SupportDescription
In the existing system, TNEP is the important source of power sector planning. Transmission network expansion planning (TNEP) is used to match the load growth and generation patterns to maintain the reliability, stability and economic constraints. Moreover, it is used to find many new transmission lines in the network. But in this paper the distributed generations affects the electrical industry and as well as the strategy of the transmission network expansion planning (TNEP). The aim of TNEP is to minimize the transmission line and the investment will meet the growing load and the added constraints. By using TNEP is highly complex .transmission network expansion planning (TNEP) is now a significant power system problem. Transmission planning state’s the problem of reinforcement of an existing transmission network to work with the growing electricity demand. Transmission network expansion planning is to determine when and which type of new transmission facilities are required in the power system. So in the proposed system Gbest Artificial Bee Colony (GABC) optimization algorithm is used to show the effectiveness of the proposed system, it is evaluated on Garver’s 6-bus network, and IEEE 24-bus test. Gbest Artificial Bee Colony (GABC) algorithm is a population-based search procedure that is used as an optimization tool in solving complex, non-linear, and convex optimization problems. The proposed algorithm implemented to solve the DC power flow model based Static transmission network expansion planning problem.
