SupportDescription
A mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) is a self-configuring network of mobile nodes. MANETs are hindred by intermittent network connections, restricted power supplies, and limited computing resources. These restrictions raise several new challenges for data access applications with the respect to data availability and access efficiency. Data caching addresses these challenges in MANETs to improve the efficiency of information access. Caching frequently accessed information at the clients is an effective strategy to enhance the performance in mobile environments. When caching is used, information available in the server is duplicated on the caching nodes. Cooperative caching improves system performance because it allows sharing and coordination of cached data among multiple mobile users in the network. Several protocols have been proposed to improve data accessibility and reduce query delay in MANETs. Some of these proposals have adopted the cooperative caching scheme, allowing multiple mobile hosts within a neighborhood to cache and share data items in their local caches. In existing system Ant Colony Optimization metaheuristic is used for the NP-hard scheduling problem. In this project Ant Hoc Net + Security (ANTSEC) framework is proposed. The main component of ANTSEC are ECOCA middleware and the stack profile. The proposed work concentrates on improving the cooperative caching mechanism by incorporating security. This system uses Artificial Immune System and AntHocNet routing protocol. The performance of this framework is assessed by the simulation results with the parameters End-to-End delay and Packet Delivery Ratio.
